Sora was born in Orange County, CA and graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Illustration. She went back to RISD to get an art teaching degree and is currently teaching at Quest Montessori School while working as a freelance illustrator. Sora is happily married and lives in a lovely purple house in Providence.
